Sizzling Tuna Steak
When we went to Daet, Camarines Norte, we were told that there is this restaurant that serves good seafoods. As soon as we finished our work, we began our search for this since lunch was fast approaching. Then we saw KFisher through constant inquiries from tricycle drivers.

Sweet and Sour Cattle Fish
Just straight to the point, their sizzling tuna steak was very good. Never to be missed. We ordered for a sweet and sour cattle fish. It was another main dish I would say superb. The meat was very soft and tender. They know how to cook cattle fish right. Take note, if you over cook this, it will be as elastic as a rubber. Kfisher was a place to go when you are in Daet. They also have a wide array of dishes to choose from. This 2 were stunning. It will always be my first order when I go back.

Going to Daet, Camarines Norte is like an adventure if you are coming from Naga city. First, you have to pass by the great planes of Maragao, San Fernando, Milaor and Libmanan. Then you will pass by the mountains at Sipocot. Then you will pass by Bitukang manok at Villazar, before your go back to low land when Daet is resting. It was full of fun and I never had a dull moment during the trip. This culinary secret at the area is no secret to them. In fact, they are famous at the place. You may ask any tricycle driver and they will lead you straight to KFisher. To KFisher, thank you for a sumptuous and delicious meal.
Staying in Gensan is not complete if you are not going to eat tuna. One of the best way to experience this is to eat it raw. If the Japanese have their raw fish dish called sushi, we Filipinos have a version called “Kinilaw†or “Kilawinâ€. It is the combination of raw tuna meat with cucumber, tomatoes, onions, vinegar, salt and pepper and chilis. In General Santos City, this is very common dish at the area and one which I can recommend to have kinilaw is at Nikolai.

Nikolai Barbeque Grill and Seafood is located downtown of General Santos City along Aranghita st. THey are known for their delicious seafood dishes and very affordable price. I bet you, you will be surprise how may dishes you can have with your 500 pesos. They serve the freshest catch of the day at a very affordable price. When you are in the place, never miss their Kinilaw. One of the best kinilaw that I have tasted.

Panga ng Tuna
Tuna is very good grilled and one of the best part, is the panga ng tuna (tuna jaw). It is very tasty and has plenty of meat and ligaments. That is one reason why this is one of my favorite grill. I had this tuna experience in Cebu at STK ta Bay. They have a very nice ambiance that is suitable for casual to fine dining. Yet, the prices are very affordable. Not to mention that their tuna tasted very delicious. They have this marinate that is not so sweet and has the right level of tang. It is best to have a mixture of chili, calamansi, soy and vinegar as the perfect condiment for this wonderful dish.
Where to find
STK ta Bay is located at Orchid st. Uptown, Cebu city. It is near Cebu capitol. One thing I like about the place is the ambiance. Since I am an antique aficionado, I enjoyed the place as was as their food.

The place is very homey and the collections are great. It is one of the place that I will sure dinner and wine again. Don’t forget, they also have a very good food that will surely satisfy you taste pallet as well as your wallet. J Nindot kaayo ang place ug lami ang mga sudan!!!
