SM Mega Mall is like a home to me. When I was still working at Ortigas Center, never did I miss passing by SM Mega Mall and dining at the fastfood area. That was a long time ago . Since we have priorities that we set, we cannot do that as often as we want. In embedding the “Dugong SM” to my kids, I brought then to my favorite place at the Basement of Building A and here, I discovered Razon’s Sizzling Bulalo. Very unusual right, since when we say Razon, what pops into our mind is Halo Halo.
Razon’s Sizzling Bulalo is very delicious. I prefer it better than steak on sizzling plates. The tenderness of the Bulalo meat and mushroom sauce gave a new flavor in eating over a hot plate. It is perfect with a hot steaming rice. Of course, this is not complete without the bone marrow. That is what sizzling Bulalo is all about that you cannot find in any steak dish. When you happen to go to any SM mall’s fastfood, never forget that Razon does not only serve a very delicious Halo halo, hence they also have a mouth watering Sizzling Bulalo.
There is this place that I always pay a visit every time I go back to Tacloban,. That is Calle Z. Why? It is like going back to the memory lane where bars has the classic atmosphere and where you can talk to your friend comfortably without being overwhelmed by the music. Not to mention that the variety of music they piped-in are well picked. That is enough reason to go back and relax. Another thing is that they never fail to serve good food. Last week, I tasted their Sisig na Bangus as recommended by my friend. It did not fail my expectation. No fishy after taste and it carried the softness and flavorsome of the bagus (milk fish). It went very well with sizzling plate and plenty of hot sauce. It was a smack down with ice cold beer, blended with the cool ambiance and stirred by the good music. Total Chill mga pre!!!

When I was still a student in grade school, I remember that in our school cafeteria, we would flock to have this stall to have a sizzling meal and one of the bestseller then is Sizzling Tapa. There is this sizzling tapa that reminded me of my gradeschool days. Yes fellow foodies, it is the sizzling Tapa of Steak Break. They have a very generous amount of rice and tapa and best for a hot sizzling dish is to have a load full of gravy. That is the way they serve their sizzling dishes. The taste of the tapa is just right and it will not be complete without a side dish of corn, diced carrots, and green peas.
