Its been a year of blessing and challenges for 2012. I added an additional page to rapsa when I discovered the wonderful world of beer. This brought to the opening of my 6Thirsty page and is dedicated to the appreciation of different kind of beers around the world.
I my quest for delectable dishes, I met alot of restaurant owners. They prepared their specialty dishes which I featured in my blog entries. It was a fun year of eating and blogging. I also appreciated all the comments that I received however, last December 2012, my page was attacked by hackers and I almost lost all of my entries. Thank God, we were able to recover the blog entries but I lost the comments that was posted.

I also would like to thank my family in their continous support to rapsa and to our food trip adventure to different places of interest. It was such a great trip featuring food and eating at the same time with them.

Watch out for new and exciting blog entries for this year and for the new features of rapsa. We wish everyone the best for the start of this year and may our table be filled with food to enjoy with our friends and family. Happy new year to all and welcome 2013!!!

Antipolo
Isn’t it wonderful if you have a training and the food that is being served is not the usual sandwich and coffee but, you’ll have Burritos and Nachos instead? Yes my fellow foodies, that is one reason to have a training at MMLDC. Not only that they provide a very good venue that is conducive to learning but they also serve food satisfying to your taste buds and stomach. MMLC never failed my expectation when it comes to good food, corporate standard and friendly people. The only thing that set me back is after eating and the siesta time of 1:00 to 2:00pm. After eating their fantastic food, plus the good cooling system of the area, it will hypnotize you to a deep sleep.
Thanks to the overflowing coffee and Kutchinta that will surely perk you up every time your sleepy head falls down.
Where to Find

You can have the Burritos and Nachos of MMLDC at Antipolo City. It is near Assumption Antipolo along Sumulong highway. The restaurant that serve this is Areva. You can also go to the place for lunch and dinner. It’s a different dining experience specially when all you can see are trees and fauna to which the place is plentiful. Try it and visit the place. Both the food and the ambiance will not fail you.
After a long day at work, my friends who came for different regions met me to attend a drinking session. Hehe. Just kidding!!! They came here for their quarterly review “kung may benta ba o wala?†I hope they have sale rather than none. Going back to my food trip experience, we went to Henry’s grill and I had the chance to savor one of their bestseller and it is their Nachos. I was wondering why it was the primary answer when I asked,” what is the specialty of the house when it comes to appetizers?”. It was a straight answer from Weng, ”Sir, try our Nachos. People come here because of that”. Ako naman, dahil dakilang uto-uto, I did asked for it. It was something that I did not regret asking for. It was a fantastic Nachos!!! Very good to have, wonderful to taste. It blended very well in what we were drinking. My friends would order again and again every time the plate is emptied.
Where to Find
Henry’s Grill is located in front of Bayan Telecommunication Corporate Office along Maginhawa street, Teachers Village, Diliman QC. If you go there, look for Weng. She will guide you to their menu and to their specialties. Teachers village has become a culinary haven in QC where small and unique restaurants and cafe have sprung. When you visit the area, don’t forget to drop by Henry’s and have a taste of this wonderful appetizer. It is really something worth having, again and again.

Nachos
What will be the perfect food while eating in front of the TV? I can say all are perfect when you are in your couch while watching and relaxing. Speaking about perfect “chicha”, this is one food that I always have everytime while I’m watching my favorite show. It is my beloved Nachos. This is my perfect beer match and it goes very well every time there is a boxing round. Hehe!!!
In preparing for this Mexican Dish, I made it a point that the ground beef is saucy with plenty of chilis to make it flaming hot. After cooking it, I then add cheese sauce. Onions, tomatoes, bell pepper and celery are my garnish together mushrooms. The finale that I put is grated cheese on top. Sometimes, I sliced jalapenos or habaneros on top to make it more exciting.
There are many ways to make your TV or movie watching more enjoyable by eating this appetizing dish. Very easy to prepare, it will just take your imagination and creativity to make it a knock-out.

Davao
I was first introduced to this Tex-Mex food Fajitas and Nachos a long time ago at Tia Maria’s Annapolis, Greenhills. Ever since, my desire for these has never faded. In my search for good food in Davao, I came about this resto-bar that serves this delicious food and it is Avenue S. This is highly recommended for the taste will not fail what I am trying to say. I was introduced to the Owner named Rocky. What makes his food great is because he grows his on herbs and spices and uses it in his dishes. Aside from the Fajitas, they also serve very good nachos. It is very much different from the nachos in the mall. His nachos is deep-fried and the salsa it truly heavenly.
Where to find
Avenue S is located at Damosa Gateway Mamay Road cor. J.P. Laurel, Lanang. This is a place that I will be coming back for a good night-out, good company, very nice ambiance and good food. When in Davao, visit Damosa Gateway. This place is very much alive at night and there are plenty of bars that will cater to your moods and cravings. Also, don’t forget to visit Avenue S and have a taste of their Fajitas and Nachos. Rapsa to bro and sis with beer!!!
