There is this place that I always pay a visit every time I go back to Tacloban,. That is Calle Z. Why? It is like going back to the memory lane where bars has the classic atmosphere and where you can talk to your friend comfortably without being overwhelmed by the music. Not to mention that the variety of music they piped-in are well picked. That is enough reason to go back and relax. Another thing is that they never fail to serve good food. Last week, I tasted their Sisig na Bangus as recommended by my friend. It did not fail my expectation. No fishy after taste and it carried the softness and flavorsome of the bagus (milk fish). It went very well with sizzling plate and plenty of hot sauce. It was a smack down with ice cold beer, blended with the cool ambiance and stirred by the good music. Total Chill mga pre!!!

Calle Z Cafe or Calle Zaragozza is located at along Independencia st., Poblacion, Tacloban City, Leyte. Even though there are new establishments in Tacloban, CalleZ has made its landmark as culinary and place to be at night with friends. Never leave Tacloban without experiencing Calle Z.

Inihaw na Bangus
There is one grill place that I did not noticed in the first place because of too much commonality in most areas in the Metro Manila. I use to see grill queen in most of the areas in the metro. All I thought was barbeque but I did not expect that their inihaw na bangus is a hit to my taste palette. It was perfectly grilled and the marinate that they used was a sure hit to my preference. It was a superb fish dish that I really enjoyed. They have made the taste almost like tocino and their method of grilling was just right. That made their inihaw na bangus soft, juicy and very tasteful.

Inside Grill Queen
Where to find
Grill Queen is located mostly in the metro. For this food trip, we had it along Maginhawa st., Teachers Village, Diliman QC. I am a bangus eater at heart and the inihaw na bangus of Grill Queen is has made me realize that some great things comes from small packages. Similar to this humble restaurant that serves a terrific bangus meal not even some known restos can come at par.

This is one grilled fish that I like. This is also our national fish which we call “Bangus”(milk fish). I got to know this restaurant from my officemates who brought me there. Big and wonderful things come in small packages. This restaurant is very humble that their front signage is very small that you might think that the other shops signage is the name of their restaurant. But this is no small restaurant. They serve one of the best inihaw ng bangusin Quezon City. The name of the restaurant is ALL IN and their specialty is the inihaw na bangus topped with onions, tomatoes celery and other ingredients I am not familiar.

Where to find
ALLL IN is located along Don A. Roces Avenue infront of KFC. It is the street perpendicular to Tomas Morato. The service is great!!! All of the staffs are accommodating and they will are always around to make sure they can serve your request. The inihaw na bagus is best paired with their bulalo. After you eat, they have a complimentary dessert of minatamis na saging .

It is not only the food that you will surely go back for, but also the warmth of the people who runs the place. Pinoy na pinoy talaga!!!Good food, and hospitable people. If you pass by QC near Tomas Morato, don’t forget to drop at ALL IN restaurant. You may also contact them at 02-376-68-14. Maraming salamat po for making my first dining experience in your place memorable, both taste and service.
